South Korea here I come

As many of you know I am going to South Korea for a year beginning at the start of September. This is all pending documents signed, sealed and approved.

I'm dedicating this blog toward keeping you up to date with my adventures in S. Korea (and possible arrest in N. Korea) and keep in touch with everyone at home.

Now, I don't know exactly where my is placement. Nor do I know the exact day I am leaving or what age group I'll be teaching. I do know I'm going to make a little money. Added to that everyone tells me I am coming home with a Korean wife. My dad, actually, had a serious conversation about the dangers of Korean women seducing me for a chance to come to the U.S. I warned him that I'm bring back a harem.


On a lighter note, I purchased the level 1 Korean language Rosetta Stone. I can already see myself trying to say 'you look pretty in that dress' in Korean and actually saying 'you look like a frog face, ugly.' I'll keep you updated on that one.


Now, I will try to keep my blog fresh with updates unlike the previous attempt to do so. I imagine I will be able to since I will be alone over there.

Anyway, that's enough for now. I hope to see everyone before I leave at BBQ's and to kick it.
